CVAP Batch 17 Day 2

 Hi Voicemates!

It's me again ZelleTalk and we just wrapped up our day 2 session with CVAP. I had a blast today and I want to share my insights with you. First of all, the first part of the session was delivered by The Voice Scout, Mr. Joshua Simeon. I love how he taught the basic technicalities of doing voice recording. He delivered a very straight forward and understandable lecture. He made sure to make it easy to follow and understand and it's beneficial for people like me who's just starting out. It was a smooth session and he has a really handsome and crisp speaking voice it's like an ear candy. He shared with us two software that we can use and the basics of using them. He also shared with us the brands and types of microphones that we can use to start our voice over careers.

Here comes the most exciting part of the session the afternoon session. It was delivered by The Voice Pappy, Papa Lem, it was a fun new experience for me. He's a pro dubber and I admire how he casually manage to change his voice it's just a WOW moment for me. I can't believe that I am actually sitting in this class trying to pursue what used to be just my childhood past time ( listening to radio drama, commercials and commentaries). He is really good in his craft and we tackled on how to explore your vocal range. Papa Lem is so fun to watch and listen to. He has this vibe that sets the mood. He also has a very good speaking voice and sings well too. He is such an inspiration. It was a really fun experience to be taught by these amazing individuals who once were just like me, a hopeful.

Overall experience was surreal and fun and by the end of the session we were instructed to prepare our own recital plus the assignments. I'm overwhelmed and excited. I hope to comply with our day 2 assignments with the help of our BR Mentors and of course my fellow voicemates. Before I end this another lengthy post I just want also to share about the Voice Master himself , Mr. Pocholo! He was actually there supporting us despite his busy schedules he managed to be there. He is such an inspiration and a humble individual that I look up to. He has achieved a lot,yet he remained grounded. He has helped a lot of people including me. This is such a beautiful community and platform he has created alongside with his team. Kudos to everyone behind CVAP.

If you have reached this far I want to say thank you for giving me a little bit of your time. I hope what I have shared today will inspire you to join CVAP and if you are also an aspiring voice artist and don't know where or when to start this is the right platform for you!

May we all have a safe and blessed year ahead. See you next week. Ciao!
